Our adorable chef’s hand made delicious, fresh finger food provides the perfect solution to your catering requirements at home, office, external venue, hall, school – whatever the occasion. And we can cater to all dietary requirements including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, food allergies or food intolerance.

Meet Kate Broadhurst, mother of four boys (yes four boys!) and founder of Adorable Katering.
Food consumes Kate’s everyday life. From the moment she wakes until her head hits the pillow in the evening that’s all she thinks about!
Kate’s food philosophy is simple ‘Food brings people together, it makes each occasion memorable and is a reflection of how we feel about those that we share our table with. For me, having the privilege of providing catering for our clients’ special events and occasions is an honour and I feel blessed every day because I get to do what I love. It just doesn’t get much better than that’.
Adorable Katering (formerly Affordable Katering) was established by Kate Broadhurst over 15 years ago. Kate, who has a background in hospitality, was continually being asked by friends if she could recommend a reliable local, small to medium sized caterer that offered affordable fresh food. None came to mind. Other caterers were either good but too expensive or at the other end of the spectrum, inexpensive but offering inferior food quality (pre prepared or frozen food!)
Recognising the need for an affordable, quality and freshly hand made catering service, Kate created Adorable Katering and the journey has exceeded even her expectations. ‘When I first started it was on a small scale …. well it had to be – raising four young boys is time consuming to say the least! As the business demands grew I quickly recognised that I could no longer manage the business on my own and decided to find a business partner. That was the light bulb moment, the ideal business partner was standing there right in front of me! My adorable and business savvy husband Ken was the perfect choice. It took a bit of convincing on my behalf to lure him away from a management role in the corporate world and to come join me but I’m glad I persisted. The perfect business partnership was born.’
